Party Rental Studio (“PRS,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our website, platform, and related services (the “Services”).

1) Information We Collect

  • Account Information: name, email, phone, business name, business address, time zone, and password (hashed).
  • Billing & Transactions: subscription plan, invoices, and payment status. Card and bank details are processed by third-party processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Square); PRS does not store full payment credentials.
  • Customer/Rental Data you provide: your clients’ names, emails, phone numbers, event dates/addresses, orders, inventory, availability, delivery routes, signatures, and files you upload.
  • Usage & Device Data: IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps, language, and other diagnostic logs.
  • Cookies & Similar Technologies: to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance, and improve the Services.

2) How We Use Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services (e.g., calendars, availability, routing, invoicing, and online checkout).
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions, trials, refunds where applicable, and account communications.
  • Send transactional emails and notifications (e.g., order confirmations, signatures, payment receipts, balance reminders if enabled).
  • Monitor, secure, and troubleshoot the platform; prevent fraud and abuse.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce agreements.

3) Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service Providers: hosting, storage, analytics, email delivery, and payment processing (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Square) under agreements requiring appropriate safeguards.
  • Legal/Compliance: when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
  • Business Transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to continued protection of your information.

4) Data Ownership & Processing

You retain ownership of the Customer/Rental Data you upload to the Services. You grant PRS a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display that data solely to provide and improve the Services and to meet legal obligations.

5) Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6) Data Retention

We retain account and Customer/Rental Data for as long as your subscription is active. Upon cancellation or termination, we may retain data for up to 90 days for account reactivation, audits, or legal requirements, after which we will delete or anonymize it unless a longer period is required by law.

7) Your Choices

  • Access/Update: you may view and edit key account details in your dashboard or by contacting us.
  • Deletion: you may request deletion of your account/data (subject to legal obligations and permissible retention periods).
  • Cookies: you can control cookies via browser settings (some features may not work without them).

8) Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9) International Users

If you access the Services from outside the United States, you consent to processing and storage in the United States and other locations where our providers operate. When required, we will support data subject rights requests applicable to your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR) and provide a Data Processing Addendum upon request.

10) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date reflects the most recent changes. Material changes will be notified via the dashboard or email.
