Frequently asked questions
What counts as a confirmed reservation?
A reservation counts after it has been confirmed and inventory has been reserved for the event. Drafts, quotes, canceled orders and refunded reservations do not count toward the Essentials monthly limit.
What happens when I reach five reservations?
Party Rental Studio will notify you as you approach the limit. Customer inquiries and reservation requests continue to be captured, but upgrading to Professional is required to confirm reservations above the monthly limit.
Can I accept credit-card payments with Essentials?
Essentials allows you to record payments collected outside Party Rental Studio, including cash, check or Zelle. Integrated online credit-card checkout through Stripe, Square or PayPal requires Professional.
What counts as one product?
A product is an individual rental listing. Multiple identical units count as one product. For example, 100 identical chairs can be managed under one chair product listing.
Does Essentials include a website?
Essentials includes a hosted online catalog where customers can browse available products and submit reservation or quote requests. Professional includes a complete SEO-optimized website, hosting and integrated ecommerce checkout.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. You can upgrade from Essentials to Professional as your reservation volume or operational needs grow. Your existing customers, products and order history remain in your account.
What is included in the Professional website?
Professional includes an SEO-friendly hosted website, integrated product catalog, online checkout, content-management tools and a blog. Highly customized WordPress design is available separately as an add-on.
Can I purchase add-ons with Essentials?
Advanced add-ons require Professional because they depend on Professional features and capacity. Any exception is labeled directly on its add-on card.
Are payment-processing fees included?
The Professional subscription provides the software integration. Standard transaction fees charged by Stripe, Square, PayPal or another payment provider are separate.
