Set a sender name and reply-to per company
Run more than one company on your account? Give each one its own sender name and reply-to address so invoices clearly come from the right business.
Open the Sender Identity settings
This lives with your other email settings.
- In io.partyrentalstudio.com, go to Settings, then Emails.
- In the left-hand list, click Sender Identity.
Note: The Sender Identity section only appears if your account has more than one storefront. If you run a single company, invoices already send under your company name and email, and there's nothing to set up here.
Set the name and reply-to for each company
You'll see one block per company (storefront). Fill in the two fields for each.
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| From name | The sender name your customer sees in their inbox, for example "Demo PRS Rentals". |
| Reply-to email | Where a customer's reply goes, for example hello@demoprs.com. |
- Enter a From name and Reply-to email for each company.
- Click Save changes.
Tip: Leave a field blank for a company and that company falls back to your account name and email, so you only need to fill in what differs.
Pick a company when you email an invoice
Your saved companies now show up whenever you send an invoice.
- Open an order and click Email Invoice.
- At the top of the window, use the Send as buttons to choose which company this invoice comes from. The subject line updates to match.
- Fill in the recipient and message as usual, then click Send Email.
Good to know
- What the customer sees: the From name and reply-to address of the company you picked. Replies go straight to that company.
- The from address: the underlying sending address stays your account's verified address. Only the display name and reply-to change per company.
- Which company is picked first: the first company in your list is selected by default, so you can send without touching the picker.
Note: A brand-new invoice doesn't know which company it belongs to, so the "Send as" choice is made per email. Double-check it's set to the right company before you send.
